We believe that those who have mental health needs deserve to live a full and satisfying life and be involved in all aspects of their recovery.

Community Mental Health Engagement

We work to ensure that individuals with lived experience of Mental Health, and those that care for them, have a voice in the development and provision of health and statutory services in Haringey.

  • Engagement
  • Through our partner organisations who include, Barnet, Enfield & Haringey Mental Health Trust (BEH MHT), London Borough of Haringey (LBH), Haringey Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and Healthwatch Haringey, we conduct the following:
  • Focus groups
  • Audits & evaluations
  • Participation in Interview Panels & BEH & LBH Committees
  • Facilitating Community Engagement  Meetings and “Awareness Week” events
  • Teaching
  • We provide bespoke teaching on Mental Health Awareness to professionals, Commercial organisations and Community groups.
  • We support individuals who are in secondary health care and wish to return to work through our First Steps Towards Work Training Programme delivered at The Clarendon Recovery College. The Course has been developed in collaboration with the Middlesex University, LBH & BEH.
  • Our work with our partners The Clarendon Recovery College and Middlesex University ensures that people with lived experience have the opportunity to become Peer Trainers and co-design training courses.
