We No Longer Provide Advocacy For Your Care Service

Advocacy Services in Haringey from 1st November 2018

VoiceAbility supports people to have their voice heard. From 1st November 2018, VoiceAbility will provide the following kinds of support in Haringey: 

  • Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA) including Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) and Paid Representatives: To support people who lack the capacity to make specific important decisions: including decisions about where they live and about serious medical treatment options.
  • Care Act Advocacy: To enable people to fully participate in Care Assessments, Care and Support Planning, and Adult Safeguarding and Reviewing enquiry processes.
